The StreetLight InSight® platform is a subscription-based, software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that relies on Cuebiq LBS, INRIX GPS, and other contextual data to product on-demand analyses. There are different tiers for InSight® subscriptions, which involve access to different attributes and analysis types, including freight movement by time. StreetLight provides on-demand freight metrics for medium and heavy duty commercial trucks
StreetLight Data is derived from two main sources 1) Smartphone app location-based services (LBS) information, which is used to collect data on all vehicles combined, and 2) Geographic Positioning System (GPS) devices embedded in commercial vehicles used to collect data for trucks only. LBS data is from Quebec and other sources, while the GPS data is provided by INRIX.
