The North American Transborder Database contains freight flow data by commodity type and mode of transport including rail, truck, pipeline, air, and vessel for U.S. trade with Mexico and Canada. The database includes two sets of tables: commodity-based and geography-based. The information is used to monitor freight flows since the enactment of NAFTA (now CUSMA) in 1994.
